Seeds--French vegetable

I call 'Phénomène' the weekender's bean.  Why?  Unlike bush beans which need to be picked every couple of days, this pole bean is as delicious for shell out and dry beans as for fresh green beans.  The pods are stringless and hold their tenderness a long time before filling up with succulent 'shellies.'  Fabulous for weekend country houses and for--well--those of us who don't always get around to picking the beans when we should!
