Fava 'de Seville'

Favas are one of my favorite vegetables, and you should grow them too, as they are difficult to find in American markets. Besides, like sweet corn, favas never taste as good as minutes out of the garden. De Seville is a very ancient variety of Spanish origin, and favas in general are native to the Mediterranean basin. Unlike other beans, favas are a cool weather crop, and should be planted in late winter through early spring.
