Herb Robert is a dainty perennial with a low rosette of deeply incised foliage and glistening, bright pink flowers for much of the summer. It is extremely rugged and makes a great groundcover for difficult areas. However, it also straddles the territory between being a pretty plant and a bothersome weed. How it behaves depends on your climate. If you live on the west coast of the U.S., I advise you not to plant herb Robert as it behaves invasively. In the rest of the country, it seems most people appreciate it as a wildflower rather than a weed. I recommend it as a great plant for a difficult area in non-west-coast areas, especially for dry shade.
