To me, wild feverfew is much prettier than the cultivated, double variety. The wild form has big corymbs of tiny white daisies with golden yellow centers. A huge attractor of butterflies and beneficial insects, wild feverfew is long-blooming and makes a great cutflower.
Plant in moderately rich soil in spring through early fall. Varies from being a hardy annual to perennial, depending on drainage and climate, but self-sows nicely. Has been used as a medicinal herb for centuries.
I've searched for a year to find the right source of French native wildflower seeds to offer you. Here they are! Certified organically grown, these seeds are produced on a family flower farm in the
Massif Central. One hundred percent of the process is artisanal, right down to the seed packets which are decorated with drawings of the content plants by the owner.
