French wildflower seed mix--'Fleurs à Papillon'

Bring the flowers of the French countryside into your own backyard! This seed mix contains colorful French wildflowers which have been specially selected to attract butterflies. It consists of perennials, along with one annual (phacelia) which helps shelter the other seedlings as they develop the first year.

'Fleurs à Papillon consists of blue phacelia (Phacelia tanacetifolia); rosy purple wild oregano (Origanum vulgare); brilliant magenta rose campion (Lychnis coronaria); fluffy pale pink hemp-leaved Joe Pye weed (Eupatorium cannabininum); purple wood betony (Stachys officinalis); lilac small scabious (Scabiosa columbaria); and lilac and purple wild hollyhock (Malva sylvestris).

Sow 'Fleurs à Papillon in open, sunny to lightly shaded, well-drained and worked up ground anytime from early spring through fall. These plants will bloom the second and following years from planting. The phacelia will bloom rapidly the first year from a spring to early summer planting. Full instructions in English included. Suitable for all parts of the US.

I've searched for a year to find the right source of French native wildflower seeds to offer you. Here they are! Certified organically grown, these seeds are produced on a flower farm in the Massif Central by a family group. One hundred percent of the process is artisanal, right down to the seed packets which are decorated with drawings of the content plants by the owner.
