Bring the romance of traditional French lamps to your own home! Hand made by an atelier just outside Paris specialized in reproducing French traditional lamps, this beautiful lantern is fabricated in zinc, the same material used for most Parisian roofs. The heavy-gauge zinc has a soft, matte, natural patina that only improves with age, and the lantern is made to last lifetimes.
The Perrache wall lantern is a replica of an old lantern that was salvaged from a railway station near Lyon. It is solidly constructed in a manner that completely protects it from rain. Its glass panels are 3 millimeters thick, interchangeable, and can be easily replaced if accidentally broken. The lantern is completely outfitted for American AC current and lightbulbs, and comes with installation instructions in English. It accepts a maximum 75-watt bulb, and has a bracket on the back for easy wall mounting. Note: This lantern is also available in brass, copper, and copper-vert-de-gris.
