From the Paris atelier of the same trio of designers who make our
"Salades" and
"Choux" raku ware and our slate serigraphed place mats come these wonderful coasters in the same
esprit. Made of natural French slate from Brittany, they are hand-cut and individually serigraphed with natural botanical patterns. Each one in the set of 6 has a different pattern, exactly as shown. If you have a contemporary home, you won't find sleeker coasters than these. They are at once pristine, natural, and very cool.
Like all slate, the coasters are fragile. Don't drop them or put them in the dishwasher. They may be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Approximately 1/4" thick, they do an excellent job of protecting your furniture from heat as well as moisture.
Available in white or anise/plum on natural slate.
