Shaped like a pocket, right down to the cloth grain surface, this ingenious pot is made to hang on a wall either directly or on a trellis or metal grid. Absolutely perfect for apartment dwellers, the pocket pot is compact and space-saving. Plus, it looks absolutely wonderful arrayed in multiples of 4 or more (click on the '1' below the main photo to see an example of an array of pocket pots with plants). Pocket pots make a unique and charming display, and are perfect for frequently changing, seasonal plantings. Fill them with pansies and other cool-season annuals in spring and fall, with herbs or strawberries or rock garden plants in summer, or with small ferns and mosses in the shade.
The pocket pot is made of thick, natural clay, and has two holes in the back to accept hooks, nails, or wire. It is painted a beautiful shade of deep golden green we call Paris green. The pocket pot has a small hole stamped into its top edge to hold a drip irrigation tube in place. Ingenious right down to the smallest detail!
