For smaller families, this smaller version of the Provençal poêlon is perfect for cooking for 2 to 4 persons.  Like it's big brother, this poêlon can go directly on the stovetop over a flametamer.  Of course you can also use it in the oven and it is perfectly dishwasher safe.  Soak in water several hours before using the first time, and let dry thoroughly bottom-up after washing before storing.  An essential for real French farmhouse cooking.  Available in Provençal red and Luberon green.  Please note the green is notoriously hard to photograph; it looks blacker in the photo than it is.  Click on the "1" under the main photo to see the green version.
