Provençal toupin

The toupin is a traditional form in Provençal pottery dating to the 16th century. It served to heat various liquids and keep them warm at the back of the hearth. Today, nothing has changed. The toupin is perfect for brewing tea, and serving coffee and hot chocolate. Its thick walls keep beverages hot on chilly days. The handle makes for perfectly ergonomic pouring. Comes with a tea-infusing basket. Available in Luberon green and Provençal red.
